For 45 years, Samaritan Counseling Centers of the Mid-South has been providing high-quality, affordable, mental health counseling and educational resources for children, adults, couples, families and groups. Samaritan was initially founded in 1981 by Calvary Episcopal Church as the Episcopal Counseling Center, to serve the needs of the Episcopal congregations. In 1987, the Episcopal Counseling Center became the Samaritan Counseling Centers of the Mid-South, to shift the scope of the work to include the broader Mid-South community, and has been committed to providing professional counseling services and educational programs to all in our community who are in need of high-quality, affordable care, respecting the spiritual and personal values of all individuals served.
