Mary "Terez" Carter
Mary “Terez” Carter, LCSW is a Wisconsin native, mother of three sons and two step-sons. She has a BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Interpersonal Communications and a Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University. She is licensed in the state of Tennessee as a clinical social worker. Terez is fluent in Spanish, French and Italian. She served in Chad, Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer where she taught English as a foreign language.
Terez counseled at Arbor Circle in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Christ Community Health Services in Memphis, Tennessee. Terez uses a person centered approach with an empathic and nonjudgmental attitude. Her therapeutic approach is an integrated blend of techniques. Terez works with people of every persuasion and has ongoing experience with the LGBTQ+ community. Terez works with women to help them love themselves and find peace within.
