Samaritan Counseling Centers of the Mid-South (non-profit organization) is seeking a Licensed Staff Therapist. For 45 years, Samaritan has been committed to providing professional psychotherapy, assessment, and educational services to all, including individuals with limited financial resources.

Highlights:

• Required master’s or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marital and family therapy, or equivalent, with an active and unrestricted professional Tennessee licensure as any of the following: LCSW, LPC-MHSP, PhD-HSP, or LMFT
• Competitive pay. Compensation comes from client fees, third-party payor reimbursements and Samaritan’s low-fee supplement fund (charitable funds raised to compensate therapists for seeing low-fee clients). Minimum of 10 client sessions/week required. Current full-time therapists (~25 sessions per week) at Samaritan make $90K+.

• Our therapists have a low administrative/overhead cost which covers billing services, office space, utilities, telephone answering service, in-office internet, administrative support, license to SimplePractice electronic health record system, professional insurance, marketing/referral sources, and credit card processing fees.
